About Hopeful Harbour

  • Hopeful Harbour is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and young people, as well as individuals from culturally diverse communities, through leadership development, education, and mentoring.


  • We believe that when women and youth are given the tools, confidence, and support to lead, entire communities grow stronger. Our programs are free or low-cost and designed to be culturally sensitive, inclusive, and grounded in lived experiences.
What We Do

Leadership Training: We run community-based workshops to build leadership capacity in women and young people.

Mentorship Programs: Our experienced mentors walk alongside participants as they explore their personal and professional goals. Community Support & Advocacy: We create safe, empowering spaces and support access to services that promote well-being, education, and belonging..
